Claire Kneebone and Press* Food & Wine

Situated in the heart of Adelaide is Press* Food & Wine, a food and wine institution that has been around for many years. Decorated by Claire Kneebone of Claire Kneebone Studios, Claire has helped in creating an element of surprise for the people of Adelaide with this light and vibrant space that offers an intimate dining experience. Featured alongst the bar and on a larger dining table is Cello Marble, creating a consistent space in which the Cello is truly the focal point of the dining room interior. With deep veining and a brown hue that incorporates grey undertones, this stone helps in bringing a rich sense of history to the restaurant that ultimately reflects their long history in Adelaide.

Olivia Cirocco from GIA Renovations – Designer Collaboration Series

Found in the homely suburb of Malvern in Melbourne, where a mix of both opulent period, and modern homes line every street, is this one-of-a-kind home that combines the best of both. Crafted by Design Manager Olivia Cirocco from GIA Renovations, Olivia has helped in creating a home that is sympathetic to the area, whilst retaining the qualities of a family home. Featured in this space are Super White Dolomite in the kitchen and Verde Oceania Marble in the main ensuite. Whilst quite different, these two stones work in harmony with each other, but also with the fixtures and fittings, to create rooms that are sophisticated and elegant.

Cotchin’s Home by Morgan Ferry Design – Designer Collaboration Series

Situated in the inner-city suburbs of Moonee Ponds sits this unique and elegant family home that has been perfectly crafted to suit the needs of triple-premiership Richmond FC Captain and Brownlow Medallist, Trent Cotchin, and businesswoman and popular influencer, Brooke Cotchin. Keeping the theme of family central in this project, Brooke enlisted help from one of her own family members, Morgan Ferry, to help in creating her and Trent’s dream home. Morgan Ferry of Morgan Ferry Design has worked tirelessly to bring the Cotchin’s vision to life, that exudes not only contemporary stylings but also family values. Featured in this space is Versilia Marble and Cote D’Azur Marble which work together seamlessly to make for a home that never dates whilst also exuding feelings of warmth throughout the flow of the home.

Lombra by The Tailored Studio – Design Collaboration Series Episode 5

Located in the hidden gem of Adelaide’s West Lakes, this a one-of-a-kind Italian restaurant known as Lombra that is a cantina, pizzeria and cucina all rolled into one. Designers Amalia and Danielle from The Tailored Studio have worked together to create a space that exudes Italian culture from the variety of colours used, the soft curves adopted and the breath-taking natural stone. Featured in this space is Rosso Trentino Marble that adorns the benchtops where customers will be greeted upon welcome, making a statement as soon as they walk through the doors.

Fugazzi by Studio Gram – Design Collaboration Series Episode 4

Set in the heart of the city, Fugazzi is Adelaide’s premier bar and dining experience. Designed by Studio Gram, this masterpiece is the perfect homage to old school New York, Italian style dining with a contemporary flair. Featured in this space is Rosso Levanto Marble, Calacatta Viola Marble and Nero Marquina Marble.

Kent Stringer – Designer Collaboration Series Episode Three

Situated in Melbourne’s Albert Park, this latest masterpiece from Kent Stringer Interior Design is the epitome of contemporary, inner-city design. Featured in this breath-taking home is Mont Blanc Quartzite, Rosa Calmante Quartzite, Orvieto Dolomite, Thasos Marble and Jet Black Granite from CDK Stone. Combining the natural beauty found in each stone with contemporary design, this home is truly a work of art. Creating a stunning focal-point in each room, these natural stones add an unmatched depth and texture to these spaces.

As part of our Designer Collaboration Series, CDK Stone’s Architectural Sales Consultant Nathan Berrill took a deeper look into this breath-taking property and interviewed Kent Stringer of Kent Stringer Interior Design. Being the Principal and lead on this project, Kent was able to talk through his design decisions and how this project came together.
